We want you to CONNECT with God through His Word, Prayer, & Worship.
Today, call out to Him in prayer. Ask Him to "open your eyes" as you read through the scripture.
As you observe the scripture, we encourage you to take notes.
Notice the emotions, reasons, and context. Make sure to note what God wants you to know or do after reading the scripture.
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise
- Deuteronomy 6:6-7
When you choose to dedicate your family to following Christ, you're not just making a nice religious gesture. You're making a declaration of war against everything that would try to steal your children's hearts away from God. This might sound intense, but it's also incredibly hopeful because it means you're not fighting alone. This declaration of war isn't fought with anger or fear, but with love, intentionality, and faith. It's fought in family devotions, bedtime prayers, and honest conversations about life. It's fought by creating a home where grace is abundant, truth is spoken in love, and God's presence is welcomed. It's fought by modeling the kind of relationship with Jesus that your children will want for themselves. The beautiful thing about this battle is that victory isn't measured by perfection. You don't have to be the perfect parent with perfect children. Victory is measured by faithfulness - your faithfulness to point your children toward Jesus, even when you mess up. Your faithfulness to keep trying, keep praying, keep loving, even when it feels like you're failing. Remember, the same God who was with Daniel in Babylon is with your family today. The same God who gave Daniel wisdom and favor is available to give you what you need for the challenges you're facing. You're not just fighting for your children's future - you're fighting alongside the God who loves them even more than you do. Take heart, parent. This battle is worth fighting, and you're not fighting it alone.
Explore & examine the areas of your life that God needs to come under the truth. Take a moment to commit & surrender these areas in prayer.
After, tell and share with others what God is teaching you! Try this:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
