We want you to CONNECT with God through His Word, Prayer, & Worship.
Today, call out to Him in prayer. Ask Him to "open your eyes" as you read through the scripture.
As you observe the scripture, we encourage you to take notes.
Notice the emotions, reasons, and context. Make sure to note what God wants you to know or do after reading the scripture.
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- James 4:8
Do you find yourself living in the past, replaying old mistakes or longing for better days? Or perhaps you're constantly anxious about the future, worried about what might happen next? Christmas offers us a beautiful gift - the ability to be anchored firmly in the right now, where God's presence is most real and accessible. When we get trapped in nostalgia or anxiety, we miss the reality of God's presence in this moment. The past is filled with regrets we can't change, and the future holds uncertainties we can't control. But right now - this very moment - is where God meets us. This is where His presence transforms everything. The incarnation proves that God is not distant or detached from your current reality. He entered time and space to be with you in the present moment. He doesn't ask you to time travel to meet Him in the past or wait until some future date to experience His presence. He is here, now, in whatever circumstances you're facing today. This awareness of God's present reality is so transforming that it becomes a target for distraction. When you're fully aware that God is with you right now, fear loses its grip, anxiety fades, and peace becomes possible. You don't have to crawl on glass or cut yourself to get His attention. You don't have to perform or prove yourself worthy. You simply have to be aware. The most obedient thing you can do is trust His presence in every moment - not just the good moments or the spiritual moments, but every ordinary, difficult, confusing, and beautiful moment of your life. Christmas reminds us that Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us to prove that He wants to keep coming closer and closer in your life, right here, right now.
Explore & examine the areas of your life that God needs to come under the truth. Take a moment to commit & surrender these areas in prayer.
After, tell and share with others what God is teaching you! Try this:

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
